International Association of Theatre & Performing Arts for Children and Young People
Founded in 1965, this global network of theatres, producers, associations, and performing arts professionals for young audiences now gathers 80 national centers on all continents. Luxembourg has been represented within ASSITEJ International since 2008.
In 2020, ASSITEJ Luxembourg was established as a non-profit organization. The association aims to unite performing arts professionals working towards children and youth in Luxembourg, as well as anyone advocating for the recognition of this sector.
Who can become a member?
Anyone working in the field of performing arts for young audiences, or any person or institution wishing to support this vast sector, can become a member of ASSITEJ.

Krop der en Atelier

To mark World Theatre Day for Children and Young People, ASSITEJ Luxembourg launched the fifth edition of Krop der en Atelier — bringing live artistic workshops directly into Luxembourg's primary and secondary schools from May 4 to 15, 2026.
